If you know anything about Klymit, you know that they make great inflatable products, like sleeping pads. With this experience they design and built the Splash 25 dry pack. They have now launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring this backpack to market. The Splash 25 is a lightweight, waterproof pack featuring Klymit’s signature Air Frame Technology. The Kickstarter campaign is scheduled to run November 30th.
One thing that makes this dry pack different than other dry packs is the fully integrated Air Frame. Klymit claims this is the first dry pack on the market with the integrated Air Frame. The integrated Air Frame provides customizable comfort along with waterproof construction. Additionally, the Air Frame provides full suspension to transfer weight to the hips while not impeding motion or maneuverability.
The Splash 25 weighs 21 ounces and features waist and sternum straps with easy pump access for on-the-fly adjustments. The integrated Air Frame allows the pack to float in water and the top of the pack has full fold and roll closure. The daisy chain on the front of the pack allows for quick attachment of your gear.
The pack is 25 liters and is made of welded durable, lightweight, waterproof 210D Nylon. The Splash 25 has a load capacity of 35 lbs. The torso size is 16-23 in and the waist size is 27-46 in.
Kickstarter backers will have the opportunity to pre-order the Splash 25 for a Christmas delivery while supplies last. To find out more check out their Kickstarter campaign here. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/klymit/splash-25-worlds-first-dry-pack-powered-by-air
